Jesse Ventura's New Book shows Headshot by lauren b. photography | Editorial Portrait Photographer

Jesse Ventura's newest book, Jesse Ventura's Marijuana Manifesto has a headshot on the cover that I photographed last year near Keys Cafe & Bakery in White Bear Lake.  Crazy.  It was a last minute, very quick headshot session for Culture Magazine - they reached out to me from out-of-state (since I'm a Minnesota headshot and lifestyle commercial photographer) for an article they were doing on him.  The headshots graced the cover of that magazine publication, as well as within the story. It was a year later that I found out one of the images would also be included -quite prominently - on his new book cover.  On October 14th 2016, Jesse Ventura was a guest on the Chelsea show (which I love and appreciate) where she held up his book.  Ha.

All politics aside, this is just a crazy, unexpected, funny place an image I've taken has ended up.  Magazine Cover: √     Billboard: √     and now Book Cover: √
