Greg & Jake | Fall Wedding at the Walker Art Center | Minneapolis

Greg and Jake's Minneapolis fall wedding was at the newly renovated Walker Art Center - with some portraits in the redesigned Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, of course.  This was the best day!  These two were so sweet and stunning and (only a little bit) snarky - so much fun and laughter all day long!

The bright white and natural light - as well as pops of color and art - that the Walker had to offer so complimented this couple's modern, fashionable, dapper, clean look and style.  We just moved from one beautiful and heartwarming moment to the next, all day long.  For example, check out that view of the Minneapolis skyline from the balcony during their outdoor ceremony.  It doesn't get any better than that!  Except for that stunning sunset outside and snazzy couple's finale portraits inside.  Maybe it doesn't get any better than THAT.  But then: boy did Jake, Greg, and that wedding party dance.  Wow wow wow!

Jake and Greg snuck their Minneapolis engagement session in over the 4th of July weekend while they were both in the same country - a rarity at the time as Greg was living in Germany for work!  (I also remember this was my last session before my own wedding on the 8th - what a good one to end on for a bit!)  For their summer couples session, we hit up Corner Coffee and surrounding Warehouse District area in the North Loop, then moved to St. Anthony Main and the Stone Arch Bridge.

Earlier in the week leading up to Greg and Jake's September wedding, we also did a family portrait session with Greg's family at Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis.  The immediate family is rarely all in one place at the same time.  In addition, Greg's mother Betsy Rader is running for congress in Ohio and this was the perfect opportunity for some headshots and family portraits.  Feel free to visit the campaign website, Betsy Rader for Congress.  While extended families are in town, why not take the opportunity for other portrait purposes - or just because!
