5.19.18 Keeley & Mark | Mendakota Country Club | MN Wedding Photography
Oh, Keeley and Mark - what a fun-loving, easy-going, laid-back, kind and thoughtful couple! I had such a blast getting to know and working with these two for their engagement session and wedding at Mendakota Country Club. Mark's dad has been my accountant for many many years and I was so incredibly honored when, not only did Tom recommend me to his son, but also that Mark and Keeley choose me to capture their beautiful wedding day!
My first wedding of the 2018 year, we started at the Courtyard Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport for getting ready pictures with the girls. Keeley was so on top of things that she was totally dressed when we arrived, so we got portraits of her, with her mom, the bridesmaids, and the flower girl being in total awe of her. We also did the first sight with Keeley and her dad, and what a sweet, emotional moment that proved to be. The love and pride Keeley's parents have for her just emanated from them.
Keeley's first sight with Mark was just as beautiful and fun to document. Once they were together and ready to go, we rolled easily into portraits of the two of them outside the country club, and then with family and their wedding party. A friend officiated their ceremony, and the rest of the evening moved along seamlessly: cocktail hour, dinner, toasts, and dancing, ending with a truly spectacular sunset for the bride and groom's portrait finale - can't plan that perfection, but I'll take it!
Check it out! Keeley and Mark's engagement session was on a very, very cold day last winter, just one day after a big snow fall. We were awash in winter white, and they embraced it all like no couple I've seen before!
